            I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

            It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

            brew install node
            Download and install JDK8
            git clone https://github.com/jadekler/git-spring-websiteskeleton.git. I'll assume you cloned this at ~/workspace/git-spring-websiteskeleton
            cd ~/workspace/git-spring-websiteskeleton
            ./gradlew bootRun
            Navigate to http://localhost:8080
            Install chef-dk
            Install vagrant
            Install virtualbox Note: if you get an error about vboxsf, download Virtualbox 4.3.20 here
            vagrant plugin install vagrant-berkshelf
            vagrant plugin install vagrant-omnibus
            vagrant plugin install vagrant-vbguest (possibly optional - install this if you see Failed to mount folders in Linux guest.)
