QUESTION
Page has a number of input
fields laid out in a grid. The first column is a text field where I would like to lookup a location name using jQueryUI's autocomplete function. It works fine on a single element; using getElementsByName (or tag, or class) returns the correct number of elements. However, autocomplete is not working. I have read How to link jQuery UI autocomplete to several input elements? but do not understand how to apply it to my code.

Install AutocompleteLocation
You can use AutocompleteLocation like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the AutocompleteLocation component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
