What is meant by required-api: param name=”#target” in config.xml file of AGL widgets?

I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below

This is the sample config.xml file

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

You need to ensure that the current service identifier is globally unique in your cluster. More precisely, it is unique among all JVM processes in the cluster. You need to ensure that List's elements and the order of the elements are the same in all services, and the maximum size cannot exceed 1023.
Step1. Add this dependency to your pom.xml
Step2. Initialize a generator. like in the Spring.
You need to pay attention First parameter. You need to ensure that the current service identifier is globally unique in your cluster. More precisely, it is unique among all JVM processes in the cluster. Second parameter. You need to ensure that List's elements and the order of the elements are the same in all services, and the maximum size cannot exceed 1023. E.g The same code in different processes.
            Step3. Use it anywhere.
