kandi X-RAY | react-native-google-cast Summary
Old version implemented for Google Cast SDK v2 with manual discoverability. Not maintained anymore. Rewrite of the library for Google Cast SDK v3 with automatic session management. Only bug fixes will be merged. Current version with a completely rewritten API, closely resembling native Android/iOS(/Chrome?) APIs. We highly recommend to use the latest version.

I'm having difficulty installing a package using npm. The package installs successfully, however, it removes a whole bunch of other packages.
I'm not able to reproduce this on another machine. Here's the output of the package install:
...ANSWER
Answered 2017-Jun-08 at 03:10I'm not entirely sure why npm is doing what it's doing, but from the look of the output, package-lock, I surmise that you're using npm5.
Try downgrading to npm 4.
