Fragment (which holds
RecyclerView and adapter) isn't implementing
PatientListAdapter.SelectIemClickListner, instead there is an
View.OnClickListener implementation. you should add
SelectIemClickListner after coma, implement needed method (
mySelectIemListner(int i)) and then try to build an app

When I call
dismiss on the popupwindow from the
OnClickListener, the ripple effect gets interrupted half way through the dismissing. You can see the circle from the ripple but instead of it goes to the edges as the PopupWindow fades away, the ripple gets interrupted half way and you can see a circle while the popup fades away.
It's as if the dismiss is stopping the animation mid way. Anyone know why and how I can fix it?...

I had this issue and struggled 2 weeks to fix it. Yes dismiss Popup Window is culprit, action dismiss() stops/clears all the pending animations.
Here is what I did to show the ripple effect on clicking the item in my custom PopupWindow:

I'm have two responsive popups (function1 & function2) in my page but I cannot figure out how to modify this code to make it work for both. So far, I can only get one to work. The other popup just mimics the text from the first popup. These popups are tied to different buttons.
One button is called "Construction" and one button is called "Supply". Both have unique text that needs to show up in their popup windows. Unfortunately, if I click on the "Construction" button first, then this text is carried over to when I click on the "Supply" button second. And vice versa. If I click on the "Supply" button first, then this text is carried over when I click on the "Construction" button....

First of all, you can't have 2 head tags and 2 body tags, but maybe that's just how you put it on stackoverflow. the code works as if both script tags are together (in the same scope) and so the variables from the first piece of code can be accessed from the second piece of code. which means that when you set the
popupWindow variable in the first function, and then call the second function, it won't be null anymore. so it doesn't set anything.
I think this can just be solved by removing the
if(!popupWindow) (or if you don't want to make all that code run everytime you can also just move the innerHTML part outside of the if).
document.removeChild does not actually remove the variable and set it to null, it just removes that element from the document i believe.
what you can also do is add
popupWindow = null to your
RemovePopup function like this:
I searched for ways of implementing tooltips for an application and I found in some comment or answer in this site some while ago a link to this page.
I've been using this class since then and I've been happy with the result.
But recently I noticed that the tooltips came up behind modal windows, when they refer to widgets on that modal window.
Below in the code downloaded from that GitHub link, where I just made the changes of replacing
from tkinter import * with
import tkinter as tk, and using the prefix
tk throughout the code accordingly.

I found a solution.

It's not that difficult, key points are three to make this

The background must NOT be fixed size, since the content size is unknown.

I have zero code inside my MainActivity, only the XML layout I created and the Spinner is leaking, not sure why this is happening or how I can fix this. Does anyone know why? I'm using the LeakCanary Library...
ANSWERAnswered 2021-Apr-09 at 17:41
This is a known issue in LeakCanary 2.6, which has been fixed in LeakCanary 2.7
In version 2.6, LeakCanary added detection of root views retained after View.onDetachedFromWindow(). This helps find more leaks, but unfortunately some Android widgets keep a detached root view around to reattach it later (e.g. spinner). App developers also sometimes do the same with dialogs, keeping a single instance around and calling show() and hide() as needed. As a result, LeakCanary would report leaks that were actually not leaks.
In version 2.7, the default behavior changed: LeakCanary will continue to detect leaks of toasts, but will ignore root views created by a PopupWindow (which is what Android widgets use). It will also ignore root views created by a dialog by default, and you can turn this back on by setting the leak_canary_watcher_watch_dismissed_dialogs resource boolean to true:
I have a form I created in Visual Studio Code that looks perfectly fine, however when I embed the code into my website via the embed code element, the email input box is aligned left. It should be centered. When the websites page opens, the input box is centered for a split second and then shifts left. The first image is what it looks like when opened in a browser via VS Code and the second image is what it looks like when opened in my website. My code is below the images....

I'm trying to add and modify some animated CSS that I found to a 'subscription form' that I originally created. The problem is that the animation I found does not fit within the confines of my form (i.e., it's too big). I've tried to change the font size of the animation, but that seems to make things worse. I'm not even certain that my html is 100% correct. At best, I am a beginner. You'll find my code below:...

You can use PopupWindow like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the PopupWindow component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
