Answered 2020-Jan-03 at 18:49First start the android emulator on Android Studio, then execute the react-native run-android. If it doesn´t work go to android studio and do "Build -> Clean Project"

is just the name of the module that you will be using when importing.
So in this case the name of the module is @assets
