I understand that this would only work if resp_headers has only "Content-Type" => "application/json" inside it

This assumption is wrong. The map matches if the fields in the match are presented in the input and all pinned variables are matched. You have no pinned variables, so you are OK.

Match to the empty map is frequently used instead of is_map(map) guard as foo(%{} = map) do ...

After fiddling around I found the answer to my question. As I expected there is a file in which all ids and their translation are registred. It depends on the choosen language. If the chosen language is English en then it is enough to go to the folder: themes/academic/i18n/ and open the file en.yaml. Here we find:

It's simply because the last version of support library 26 is version 26.1.0. You better to use support library version 28.0.0 or either upgrading to AndroidX.

If you have notepad++ you can remove it by click to "Encoding" -> "Convert to UTF-8 without BOM":

const original = change.before.val(); is the data before the write. So if there was no data at the "/messages/{pushId}/text" node before you write there, the variable original will be null.

            You shoud change to:

const original = change.after.val(); which is the data after the write, i.e. your new data, which you want to "emojify".

Option 1: Embedding into Asset Pipeline

Without knowing exactly how this Javascript library works, the image path needs to be added to the Asset Pipeline. Otherwise rake assets:precompile will not include all of the emoji images in the manifest file it generates and will not know how to serve those assets in the production environment (assuming default Production environment configuration).
