I am attempting to build a Android application in Appcelerator Studio with SDK 6.1.0.GA.

I have CommonJS modules, currently we have two versions, one pre SDK 6 with an apiVerion of 2, and one with post SDK 6 with apiVerion of 3.

Both versions are in the Application/modules folder.

There are also Alloy modules as well.

There was a similar duplicate entry issue on regular android modules compiled with certain 6.x sdks, but I haven't run across something like this for compiled CommonJS modules. Give this a try:

In your app project, navigate to modules/android/modulename/version
Make a backup of modulename.jar in case the following breaks something
Do unzip -l modulename.jar. Look for the metadata.json file.
If it is there, do a zip -d modulename.jar path/to/metadata.json

Then try rebuilding your project.

I'm hardly an expert with push, but I compared what you have to what I have in one of my apps.

Pretty sure you need to send the deviceToken into the subscribeToChannel function.

I need to implement PushNotification for iOS device.

The error message this when I want to subscribe a channel Missing fields. Required: device_token and channel

I have apple certificate and all configurations in Appcelerator dashboard.

And when I am running the app on my device app asking to confirm push notification.

I believe the error appears because of Ti.Network.registerForPushNotifications events not firing.

Here is my code.

Before making calls to Arrow DB, make sure your deviceTokenSuccessCB is getting fired and since you have indicated that it's not getting fired then you can below steps for it:

Your iOS device settings are ON for your app's notifications.
You are not using LiveView ON mode as it's a known issue here LiveView ON iOS Notification issue
