Docker/Reactjs/Nodejs - How to install dependencies and run application after docker-compose up
            Asked 2020-Oct-04 at 10:48

I'm trying to dockerize a Reactjs application with Nodejs server. In many examples, we have to install dependencies in Dockerfile but I want to do it after containers started with a script. Is it possible to do it ?

Adding the option stdin_open: true in my docker-compose.yml solved the problem.

Did you upload your public key to github? In github you can check which public keys are uploaded, see if you uploaded it and that you uploaded the correct one.

Use language: generic at the top of your .travis.yml file.

And you do not need services: [docker] and probably not sudo: required.

This is how I am using it to test more complex apps:

Use it as a base and mount or copy your actual application to /usr/app. The webpack configurations are in /usr/app/cfg/ (base.js, dev.js, …). To modify those configs you need to overwrite them by copying a new file on top of it. The actual source of the app should be mounted in /usr/app/src, more specifically the webpack entrypoint for the app is taken by default from /usr/app/src/entry.js or /usr/app/src/entry.jsx.
