After div is expanded, no other buttons work in that vertical space
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 13:20

I have a tab button that handles the chatbox functionality. By default it is closed and when clicked, expands into the chat box. When it is closed all the buttons around it work as intended, however, when expanded the buttons above it can no longer be clicked like there is a invisible div over them.

Here I will provide the pictures of what I am describing and the corresponding code.

Your #olark-box-wrapper is a div with position:absolute; top: 0; height:100%; z-index:9999999999; ... no wonder it's taking up the full height of the right window area on top of everything else. And even though it's a transparent div, mouse clicks are handled by the event handlers of that div, not by those of the elements below it.

You could add pointer-events: none; to that div, making it "transparent" to user interaction. You may have to add pointer-events: visible; to its childs, to avoid the pointer-events: none; attribute being inherited by the children.

Alternatively, you could change the layout so that the #olark-box-wrapper is exactly the same height as its children.

One note about your choice of z-index: this number might be a bit too high, see Minimum and maximum value of z-index? (tl;dr: keep it in the range of a signed 32-bit number).

Three.js faces/vertices cut off but Bounding Box correct
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 12:48

I'm using BufferGeometry to handle meshes with lots of vertices, faces and normals, which I supply via TypedArrays. During rendering, the Scene and its Mesh is constructed without any warnings or errors in the console. With BoxHelper I've constructed a Bounding Box around the mesh.

Now the strangest thing happens: Although the Bounding Box is perfectly correct, the faces/vertices are cut off somewhere in the middle.

To see what I mean, here is the comparison of two models rendered with a python script (left) and rendered with Three.js (right):

The code I've used for this task can be found here in this pastebin. Any help is highly appreciated.

Application Permissions greyed out when requesting API Permission in Azure AD
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 10:19

Further to: API Permission Issue while Azure App Registration

and Why is "Application permissions" disabled in Azure AD's "Request API permissions"?

I cannot activate the Application Permissions button in the API permissions when I am trying to register an application in Active Directory. I have created the roles (several times) and ensured all of the properties are correct as described in both posts and in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/scenario-protected-web-api-app-registration - including that it the role is set for application, . I am using the default directory of my Azure account. I am the only member in my directory and am a member of global administrators.

Is there something else I am missing?

My end goal is simply to use the .Net SDK to manage the firewall on an application service using a client secret that can be distributed with an application.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 10:11

Okay, so you want an app registration to manage an App Service through Azure Resource Management API as itself with client credentials flow? In that case you don't need to assign any application permissions to your app. You need to create the app, and then go to e.g. the App Service resource's Access Control (IAM) tab, and add the needed role to your app there.

The reason that the app permissions tab there is grey is because the Azure Service Management app registration (which you can't edit) does not define any app permissions. When you define an app permission in the manifest, that becomes a permission that other applications could use to call your API, not Azure Resource Management API.

Why do I get compilation error when trying to use record type in C#?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 09:38

EDIT: Thank you everyone! I have never upgraded to a newer version of .NET and language version before. Thus didn't know about .csproj configuration. Even though I did a research before posting a question I was not able to find a solution myself. So, I just leave these two links for further reference, perhaps this might help someone as well.

            https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/csharp/language-reference/configure-language-version

I have upgraded to .NET 5.0.301

And finally got around to try record type in C# 9.0

I wrote a simple code but got an error during compilation.

I use Visual Studio Code as an editor.

TranslationFile is only using the target-language
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 06:38

I developed an app in german (de-DE) and in order to translate the captions, I added the TranslationFile feature in my app.json.

This generates a translation file, where the source-language is "en-US":

Not thinking much about it, I changed the source-language to "de-DE" since my captions are in german and I want them to be translated to english.

            Hence:

The problem that I now have, is that when I publish my extension and switch between english and german as my language in business central, all I get are the english captions.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 06:38

The source language will always be "en-US" meaning translations will be from English (United States) to some other language.

The captions in your source code thus needs to be in English (United States) and then you add the translation file for the german language.

According to the QueuePool docs the first argument should be 'a callable function that returns a DB-API connection object'.

You've passed the result of the called function to the QueuePool object as the first argument instead of the function itself. Remove the parenthesis to solve the issue:

            What I have

From the documentation for Twitter's standard search API that Tweepy's API.search uses:

Keep in mind that the search index has a 7-day limit. In other words, no tweets will be found for a date older than one week.

            https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api/v1/tweets/search/guides/standard-operators also says:

The Search API is not a complete index of all Tweets, but instead an index of recent Tweets. The index includes between 6-9 days of Tweets.
