            QUESTION

Map a child property of an object in an array in React Native
            Asked 2020-Mar-05 at 19:15

I try to list items that are loaded using the google places API. I receive the standard values without difficulty and are neatly read in the 'folder' function such as item.name, but I also want to use the photos. if in my 'componentWillMount' console.log (this.state.drinks [0] .photos [0] .photo_reference); ' output I get the right value. However, I cannot do this in the folder function. there I get the eroor: 'TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating' items.photos [0] ')'

My question is whether anyone knows how to manage a child of an object in the map function? I have to have the property 'Photos' in the object the property 'photo_reference'.

ComponentWillMount() lifecycle method is deprecated and is unsafe to use. Use ComponentDidMount() instead.

Coming to your error: 'TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating' items.photos [0] ')'
