I am trying to create an app in which the user has the option to query the database by entering information into one of two entry boxes. I want to be able to use a single select statement and conditionally query the database based on what box the user enter their information into. I currently am trying to use a CASE clause, but I believe that it is running into an error when I try to include a WHERE clause in the THEN argument. Here is what I am currently working with:

QUESTION
I am trying to use my own train step in with Keras by creating a class that inherits from Model. It seems that the training works correctly but the evaluate function always returns 0 on the loss even if I send to it the train data, which have a big loss value during the training. I can't share my code but was able to reproduce using the example form the Keras api in https://keras.io/guides/customizing_what_happens_in_fit/ I changed the Dense layer to have 2 units instead of one, and made its activation to sigmoid.
The code:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-12 at 17:27As you manually use the loss and metrics function in the train_step
(not in the .compile
) for the training set, you should also do the same for the validation set or by defining the test_step
in the custom model in order to get the loss score and metrics score. Add the following function to your custom model.

I have an ElasticSearch (6.8) index with min and max values for a measurement.
The user inputs a value and I need to find records where the value is between the min and max fields.
Example documents in ElasticSearch:

QUESTION
I'm using express-validator to find out if certain user inputs match specific keywords. If any of the inputs are invalid, a POST request to my db should not be made. If all of the inputs pass, then the POST should go through. The user should be re-directed to a /submitted
view when the inputs are valid or invalid.
When none of the inputs are valid, the POST is not made and the db is not updated (which is good, since I don't want the db to have invalid data), but the issue is that the page hangs and never reloads (has to be done manually).
I have an if/else statement below that says what should be done if the data is invalid. The console says that applicant.end()
and res.end()
are not functions. Is there something else that I can write that'll "stop" the request but do the redirect?

QUESTION
This question is related to Azure MSIX Build and Package task only has Release and Debug configurations
We have a WinForms project that has an MSIX installer. Manually, we can successfully create
- An MSIXBUNDLE and deploy it to Kudu
- An MSIX and deploy it to an Azure VM through a VHDX. We have manually convert the MSIX to a VHDX first
We are now trying to automate the build and release process to create the VHDX. However, we are getting a blank screen when the VHDX is mounted using a process that we have already validated. The only thing different is the build method (i.e., MSBuild versus VS Publish).
How do we create a working VHDX in Azure CI Build Pipeline?
Below is the YAML.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 14:26Actually, there is nothing wrong with the YAML. The problem was a delay in the virtual machine loading the VHDX. In other words, wait about 5 minutes once the VHDX is mounted before trying to run the application. I am leaving this here in case anyone else runs into this issue

QUESTION
So basically I am getting two string inputs in the form of coordinates as (x,y) and then I am adding the numbers from the inputted string (which are p1 and p2) to different variables and then adding those variables (which are x1,x2,y1,y2). So is there a way to add the variables together i.e perform arithmetic on the variables, (not concatenate)
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 13:14You can do this with std::stoi()
. Add a line to put these string
s into int
variables and do your arithmetic:
int x = stoi(x1);

I am looking for a more elegant/efficient way of finding the min/max value of every column from a numpy array within a dictionary.
For example:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 13:09You can concatenate your individual lists into a single Numpy array and then just use min
and max
along the desired axis:
