QUESTION
I'm just starting out with JavaScript although I have used a number of other languages previously. I'm finding the orientation pretty painful and I'd appreciate some guidance on how to access child elements within a forEach loop (or a jQuery .each loop). At this stage I don't really care whether the solution is JS or jQuery, I'm just trying to get something that works.
Say I have a node element that I have found using jQuery and I now have some processing to do on each row, which includes needing to find a child-element whose id contains an index related to the parent node in question:

I am trying to run a project in Java and came across the following issues:

Answered 2021-Jun-07 at 14:33There's a suspicious library com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.jar
in your WEB-INF/lib. I'd kick it out, because it's probably shadowing jackson-databind-2.9.4.jar
. The addMixin
method exists since 2.5, so that com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.jar
must be 2.4 or older.
BTW, according to https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.springframework/spring-web/5.1.0.RELEASE, you should use jackson 2.9.7, but maybe 2.9.4 works, too.
QUESTION
I'm currently working on a microservices application for my internship using Consul for service discovery and feign clients for communicating between the services. When we started working on the existing project which already was built using microservices, we upgraded Spring boot to 2.4.3 & cloud to 2020.0.1, so that we could make use of Java 15 to use records instead of normal classes for dtos. The problem we have now is that, whenever we make a call to a composite service, that will try to retrieve data from multiple services (for example users and teams service), that we get the following stacktrace:

I just tried to compile Rust example project into webassembly using emscripten on Windows, but it causes error. How can I fix it?
What I did:
- Install emscripten
ANSWER
Answered 2021-May-10 at 18:18If you don't strictly require Emscripten, you should use Rust's custom WASM support, which is available through the wasm32-unknown-unknown
as this is where most of Rust-related WASM development happens.
If you want an example of how to use this target, check out the Rust WASM book.

I am puzzled to solve this com.fasterxml.jackson.dataformat.xml.XmlMapper error with Java 11. I want to use XmlMapper only from jackson dependency and that's why excluded from springboot starter web , still cannot figure how to resolve it's dependency. providing as much details as possible -

Answered 2021-May-22 at 21:00Do you explicitly need version 2.12.2 of jackson-dataformat-xml?
Problem
jackson-dataformat-xml:2.12.2 is not compatible with jackson dependencies 2.11.4. Spring Boot overwrites Jackson dependencies that are not specified other way in dependencies block or in dependencyManagement.
Solution
If you don't need 2.12.2 then just define the jackson-dataformat-xml as following:

Answered 2021-May-18 at 18:29The error indicates that you're already using the AWS Mobile SDK for Android. However, you've added another dependency from the AWS Java SDK v1, a different product. If you're building for Android, only use dependencies named like aws-android-sdk-*
. See the documentation, here.
