kandi X-RAY | dotspotting Summary
first things first: this code is being actively developed. that said, it totally works! it’s what we’re using to run the website. there are almost certainly bugs left to be found but more importantly it is still at a stage where the code and the architecture need to be able to change without necessarily ensuring backwards compatibility. there are a whole bunch of features slated for futures release that simply haven’t even been started yet. these include: api endpoints, import and export support for multiple data formats, interactive maps not to mention install scripts and tools that don’t require you to think about all the stuff below. in short: there are lots of things left to do. but per the terms of the [knight news challenge grant] that is funding the development of dotspotting we are committed to working (and hopefully not failing too much) in public so this is the first step in that process. once a stable baseline for the code and the architecture has been established dotspotting will follow the conventions established for versioning and changes proposed in the semantic versioning specification (["semantic versioning")). also, if you haven’t already read the [the introductory blog post about

QUESTION
I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below
https://docs.automotivelinux.org/docs/en/halibut/apis_services/reference/af-main/2.2-config.xml.html
This is the sample config.xml file
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Mar-06 at 09:48I figured out why we need this
required-api: param name="#target"
OPTIONAL(not compulsory)
It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

Install dotspotting
PHP requires the Visual C runtime (CRT). The Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 is suitable for all these PHP versions, see visualstudio.microsoft.com. You MUST download the x86 CRT for PHP x86 builds and the x64 CRT for PHP x64 builds. The CRT installer supports the /quiet and /norestart command-line switches, so you can also script it.
