I use the official Recommendation as a test. I did these steps successfully:

event server installed in a docker container.(successfully)
config eventdata, metadata and all things are stored in mysql.(successfully)
train & deploy server in another docker container.(successfully)
spark standalone cluster installed in another container.(successfully)
create new app.(successfully)
import enough eventdata.(successfully)

When I train and deploy as follows, it's ok as the docs described :

step-deploy depends on step-train's datas written at file://tmp or hdfs://tmp.

QUESTION

HDFS - HBase replication not working

I'm using Prediction-IO for a POC.

Issue : I have set HDFS replication factor as 1. If I create any sample file on HDFS , then replication factor is 1.

But whenever I try to load data using Prediction-IO( which uses HBase) then all files created have replication factor of 3.

Please help.

By default HBase will pick replication factor as 3. To specify replication factor add following property in hbase-site.xml
