ThriftSampleTutorial | Thrift Tutorial - Create a simple thrift file Calc

Create a simple thrift file Calc.thrift. Run command thrift --gen java Calc.thrift this will generate client and server interfaces for java. We will use java for server side. Create a new Java Project. use Calculator.java,(also other java files ) generated in Step 2 in this project. Create CalculatorImpl.java that would implement Calculator.Iface from Calculator.java. Our thrift service is ready, we need to start serving requests now. Create a file Server.java. Add code that is similar to the following in the main function. Run the program the server is ready. Now create the client using thrift --gen php Calc.thrift (we will use php as a client). create folder thiftdemo at /var/www/thriftdemo. create index.phpo in /var/ww/thriftdemo. copy thrift php source files(in thrift folder ,go to lib/php and copy src to /var/www/thriftdemo) in /var/ww/thiftdemo. now create a folder packages in /var/www/thriftdemo/src/packages. copy the generated calc folder to /var/www/thriftdemo/src/packages. add the following to index.php. ~ 17) All files and folders are setup already in this project.
