            Install gsmGuard

You can download it from GitHub.
You can use gsmGuard like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.

            Support

The device sends an SMS on any alarm event and optionally a status report once a day. Why SMS and not internet service? SMS stays most reliable means of mobile communication in cases of poor signal quality, requires less energy and works directly without relying on central server (which needs to be maintained by someone and may present a security problem).
