A word clock created in pygame for my raspberry pi. This uses the screen.py class from an Adafruit tutorial and creates a word clock. Every 5 minutes the appropriate word to describe the current time will be highlighted. Every 3 seconds a dot is highlighted indicating the passage of time (and showing that the display & app hasn’t freezed).

Install WordClock
You can use WordClock like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
