In your existing code, item not in path could give wrong outcomes when shorter strings are found in longer strings (if that is possible to have in your graph). It would be better to use a list or set structure for your path.

For testing the existence only of a path, you can exit the loop as soon as you get a hit from recursion:

You can iterate over lst and create a dictionary out where the keys correspond to "id" values in the dicts in lst and the values are dicts. In each iteration, check if the value under "language" key is a list or not and append to the list if it's a list, create a list, if not. Finally, pass the values of out to a list constructor for the final outcome.

In DHCP protocol we have 4 packets named DORA.

first of all client send a broadcast Discovery packet for detecting DHCP server.

Then server send a Offer packet contain ip, subnet and many options and waiting for client.

If client find Offer packet suitable, send a broadcast Request and get ACK or NAK.

But why ?

Why we can't ignore Request packet and replace this way to sending 3 packets.

Discovery, Offer and ACK.

When the client broadcasts the Discover packet, it may get Offer packets from multiple DHCP servers. The purpose of the Request packet is to say to one of the servers, "I want to use the IP address that you offered to me". If that wasn't sent:

the server whose offered IP the client is going to use wouldn't know not to offer that IP to a different client, and
the other servers wouldn't know that they can offer their IPs to other clients.

Then the final Acknowledge packet tells the client that the server has gotten the Request, and that the client now has the "lease" on the IP address.

This is intended to ensure that:

IP addresses are not wasted because a server thinks the client is using the Offered IP, when the client is actually using a different server's Offered IP.
The same IP is not accidentally leased to two clients at the same ... which causes chaos.

In the variation that you proposed, suppose that the ACK packet from the client to the server is lost. Now the server won't realize that the client is going to use the Offered IP address. A few minutes later, it could then Offer the same IP address to a different client and ... chaos ensues.

I am creating a user input form where a user can enter his name and I want to use a regex for the following pattern:

^[A-Za-z_äÄöÖüÜß_.-]*

It only should accept the above letters, and dots if any and slashes if any.

Moreover I want it to accept white spaces but not at the beginning and not at the end and only one white space between name parts.

E.g. if user's name is Dora F. T. Kov it should be valid.

If I am adding \\s to my regex, it allows any amount of white spaces in my string anywhere.

How could I rewrite it based on the above concept?

In the first instance, you are setting state to a new object reference. In the second case, you are not setting a new object reference, you're calling reverse on the array, which mutates it.

In both cases, I would recommend making a shallow copy of the array and calling reverse so React knows that it's dealing with new state and therefore knows to re-render.

following are my files for html, .ts and json . As json data was very extensive therefore i have just added a few states and their cities. my 1st dropdown is showing all states. Now I want to match my 1st dropdown's selected value of state with a key "state" in "cities" object in my json file so i can populate 2nd dropdown with cities relevant to that state. and I want to do this in function "getCitiesForSelectedState". please help me find solution for this.

You can do it with the $event parameter. Make sure to compare your values safely.

If your value is not in the right type or has spaces or unwanted chars, this c.state == val might not work.

You can use the trim function to compare your value safely: c.state.trim() == val.trim()
