QUESTION
So I have the following workflow and its working perfectly. I now want to enhance it and when I am doing a PR to master, I want to set NETLIFY_DEPLOY_TO_PROD: false
instead of it being true? Do I have to duplicate this all in a new workflow, or could do some inline if check of github.event_name === push ? true : false
ANSWER
Answered 2020-Nov-05 at 15:45You could set an environment variable to indicate if deploy to prod should happen, and change it depending on the event name:

Install Action-Net
You can use Action-Net like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
