            New, TLSv1/SSLv3, Cipher is ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384

You're apparently using OpenSSL 1.0.2, where that's a basically useless relic. Back in the days when OpenSSL supported SSLv2 (mostly until 2010, although almost no one used it much after 2000), the ciphersuite values used for SSLv3 and up (including all TLS, but before 2014 OpenSSL didn't implement higher than TLS1.0) were structured differently than those used for SSLv2, so it was important to qualify the ciphersuite by the 'universe' it existed in. It has almost nothing to do with the protocol version actually used, which appears later in the session-param decode:

I am building a python project -- potion. I want to use Github actions to automate some linting & testing before merging a new branch to master.

To do that, I am using a slight modification of a Github recommended python actions starter workflow -- Python Application.

ESP32 "No such file or directory" for native ESP-IDF component
            Asked 2021-Jun-12 at 15:42

I'm trying to port the file_serving example to use HTTPS.

I've attempted to move the spiff file server functionality to the existing https_server example inside esp-idf but I get the error: httpd_server_init: error in creating ctrl socket (112)

I realize that this is probably not the easiest way to do it and instead I should work on re-writing the original file_serving example code to use https instead. The function to start the server is in the file_server.c:

Include the following line in the sdkconfig file: CONFIG_ESP_HTTPS_SERVER_ENABLE=y

“config” instead of “conf” in the file file_server.c and the configuration for the http server is a subcomponent of the https configuration and needs a "httpd.” after the “config.”:

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-10 at 15:19

Your issue is here enable.auto.commit = false. If you are not manually committing offset after consuming messages, You should configure this to true

If this is set to false, after consuming messages from Kafka, there is no feedback to Kafka whether you read or not. Then after you restart your consumer it will send messages from the start. If you enable this, your consumer make sure it will automatically send your last read offset to Kafka. Then Kafka saved that offset in __consumer_offsets topic with your consumer group_id, topic you consumed and partition.

Then after you restart the consumer, Kafka read your last position from __consumer_offsets topic and send from there.

A possible and promising approach is to generate the Pydantic model starting from the corresponding JSON Schema of the STIX object.

Luckily enough the JSON schemas for all the STIX 2 objects have been defined by the OASIS Open organization on the GitHub repository CTI-STIX2-JSON-Schemas.

In particular, the JSON Schema for the Attack-Pattern is available here.

The root cause of this error is that the struct esp_netif_t is a private type in the netif implementation. You're not supposed to create any objects of this type, only pass around handles (pointers) to it.

I suspect you've misunderstood what esp_netif_get_netif_impl_name() does. According to the API doc it takes a handle to a esp_netif_t and returns the name corresponding to this interface.

What you seem to be after is retrieving the handle to your interface in the first place. For this the (rather terse) API doc suggest a few other functions, e.g. esp_netif_get_handle_from_ifkey(...) for searching for interfaces using something called interface key (no idea, sorry, but google helps there) or esp_netif_next(...) for iterating over interfaces.

According to this forum post you might want to try something like this:

            Xdnd drop support faulty implementation
            Asked 2021-Jun-09 at 05:47

I have implemented a Xdnd drop support implementation in VTK some time ago. It was working great except with Thunar file manager. All other file managers were working fine at the time. We dismissed this limitation a Thunar bug at the time.

The feature I implemented was very simple:

            • Set the window of the application to be XdndAware
            • Receive the position message and respond that we are ready to receive
            • Receive the drop mesage and request a selection
            • Receive the selection notify and recover the URI
            • Convert the URI into something we can work with

Nothing fancy, I did not even touch the list type.

Fast forward a few years and now dolphin users cannot drop files correctly into our application. The URI is always the first file dropped since dolphin was started. Restarting our application has no effect. No bug at all with pcmanfm.

This is not a dolphin bug and files can be dropped on blender or firefox from dolphin without issues.

So there must be a bug in our implementation, but I've been staring at the code for some time and everything I tried had no effect, except for breaking Xdnd support completely.

Here are the interesting part of the implementation:

            Install Protocols

You can download it from GitHub.
You can use Protocols like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
