Split Form creates a separate collections for each of its parts
            Asked 2021-Mar-10 at 10:30

I have a split Form in MS Access where users can select records in the datasheet and add it to a listbox in the Form thereby creating custom selection of records. The procedure is based on a collection. A selected record gets transformed into a custom Object which gets added to the collection which in turn is used to populate the listbox. I have buttons to Add a Record, Remove a Record or Clear All which work fine.

However I thought, that pressing all these buttons is a bit tedious if you create a Selection of more then a dozen records, so i reckoned it should be simple to bind the actions of the Add and Remove buttons to the doubleclick event of a datasheet field and the listbox respectively.

Unfortunately i was mistaken as this broke the form. While a doubleclick on a field in the datasheet part of the form added the record to the listbox it was now unable to remove an item from the underlying collection giving me Run-time error 5: "Invalid procedure call or argument". Furthermore the clear all Button doesn't properly reset the collection anymore. When trying to Clear and adding a record of the previous selection the code returns my custom error that the record is already part of the selection and the listbox gets populated with the whole previous selection, which should be deleted. This leaves me to believe, that for some Reason the collection gets duplicated or something along these lines. Any hints into the underlying problem is apprecciated. Code as Follows:

The behavior is caused by the split form which creates two separate collections for each one of its parts. Depending from where the event which manipulates the collection gets fired one or the other is affected. I suspect that the split form is in essence not a single form, but rather 2 instances of the same form-class.

A Solution is to Declare a collection in a separate module "Coll":

How to make python script that performs a Mouse Click in Windows 10?
            Asked 2021-Feb-22 at 13:32

I'm trying a simple python script, it clicks on a screen coordinate.

I've tried with Pyautogui, pynput, pydirectinput, pywinauto... But in none of them the click is actually made, the only thing that works is to move the mouse to the coordinate.

the scripts are simple, but it still doesn't work, by deduction I think it's a win10 related problem.

Does anyone know how I can solve this?

Do I need to install anything else, maybe a driver?

Is it missing to give some kind of permission?

is there a way for me to give command to the mouse hardware to make the click, instead of being a virtualized click?

            Some of my attempts below

OBS: In all attempts the mouse moves, but does not click.

On QTreeView double_Clicked event: how to know which folder was clicked?
            Asked 2020-Jul-31 at 17:15

I'm still pretty new to C++ and qt creator. I have a TreeView displaying a directory, and upon double-clicking a folder I'd like to be able to get the directory of the folder, so i can do something with the contents. I notice the double_Clicked event passing along a "const QModelIndex& index" and I suppose this holds some information on which folder of the tree was clicked. I can't find any documentation on this signal, and what the "index" passed along could be. Does anyone have an explanation, tutorial, example, documentation, ... for me? I've been searching for awhile and trying things out but I can't find the solution. Or additionally: how can I check what gets passed along? How could I print this, or know what it is?

Click in specified place without moving mouse error
            Asked 2020-May-19 at 01:45

So I have been looking for multiple ways to perform a "click" without actually moving the mouse. After hours of searching, I came upon these two pages: ctypes mouse_events and https://schurpf.com/python-mouse-control/ where there's some code that can apparently perform a click without moving the mouse. The code seems to come from the same person, but https://schurpf.com/python-mouse-control/ seems more up to date with the "Added functions". I tried fixing it for a while but didn't get anywhere and am stuck with the following script

Create transect line in shiny app using a mix of hover and click
            Asked 2020-May-03 at 02:08

I'm working on a shiny app which contains an image, and then lets you draw a transect line on that image.

The current app lets you double click to create a starting point for the transect, and then it will use the mouse hover position to create a 'end' point for the transect. As you move the mouse, the transect updates with the new mouse position.

What I'd like to do is be able to double click again, and this would 'confirm' the end point of the transect, so the transect would now be fixed in place, and would not respond to mouse hover. Is there someway I can do this?

            Answered 2020-May-03 at 02:08

This is very easy to achieve:

            1. Add a new variable n in the reactiveValues:

              image_data <- reactiveValues(n = 1)

            2. Use that variable to index the (x,y) pair on double_click, then increment it:

              image_data$double_click[image_data$n, ] <- clickrow

              image_data$n <- image_data$n + 1

            3. Use it also on the hover event :

              image_data$double_click[image_data$n, ] <- hoverrow

This will keep adding more points to the path. If you want no more points, you can disable events when n turns 3.

You are setting view_more_elements as a WebDriverWait object rather than a WebElement. This will prevent the object from being clickable. You just need to run WebDriverWait as it's own call, then .click() the element.

To click() on the upvote icon you need to induce WebDriverWait for the element to be clickable and you can use the following Locator Strategies:
