kandi X-RAY | smslists Summary
smslists is a Python library typically used in Telecommunications, Media, Telecom applications. smslists has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities and it has low support. However smslists build file is not available and it has a Non-SPDX License. You can download it from GitHub.
SMS Lists is built on Django and PostgreSQL. While the U.S. beta uses Twilio, the service is designed to agnositcally connect to APIs of wireless communication organizations worldwide. Custom middleware associates user session data with a user’s phone number. Views are both class-based and function-based. In order to encourage contributions, future releases will further incorporate generic views. The launch beta is not location-aware, but future releases will utilize geocoding APIs to allow for the segmentation of postings according to locale.

Install smslists
Before being able to run the project, you’ll at least have to set up the database. (Remember, local settings go into the local.py file.) You can use whatever database you want, but it’s best to use the same as production as different databases may (and do) behave differently and that might make tests break (or pass and then break in production). PostgreSQL is the suggested db for production. After setting up the db, you should run. To create the initial schema. You’ll also need to run this from time to time after pulling other people’s code from the VCS repository (as they may have changed the model).
To install the system first you need to provision a new server (install and setup external dependencies) then run the deployment script. To update the app, you just need to run the deployment again. Both actions need the development requirements to be installed.
