How can I avoid bundling Vuetify and use from CDN?
            Asked 2021-Jun-16 at 01:31

I'm trying to decrease the bundle size of my Vue project, which scaffolded by the vue-cli, by using CDN of firebase, Vue, and Vuetify.

So, I've added links of these CDN in public/index.html as follow:

If you are using vuetify from vue-cli-plugin-vuetify (vue add vuetify), treeshaking and auto component import is enabled by default, by using vuetify-loader.

If you look into the source code of vue-cli-plugin-vuetify, it only uses vuetify-loader if it is present in your package.json. So removing vuetify-loader from package.json should disable this behavior.

Rake task for migrating from ActiveStorage to Shrine
            Asked 2021-Jun-16 at 01:10

I've got a Rails 5.2 application using ActiveStorage and S3 but I've been having intermittent timeout issues. I'm also just a bit more comfortable with shrine from another app.

I've been trying to create a rake task to just loop through all the records with ActiveStorage attachments and reupload them as Shrine attachments, but I've been having a few issues.

I've tried to do it through URL and through tempfiles, but I'm not exactly sure of the right steps to fetch the activestorage version and to get it uploaded to S3 and saved on the record as a shrine attachment.

I've tried the rake task here, but I think the method is only available on rails 6.

            Any tips or suggestions?

Please enable the quarkus-smallrye-jwt TRACE logging to see why the tokens are rejected. And indeed, as you have also found out, https protocol needs to be enabled in the native image, which can be done, as you have shown :-), by adding --enable-url-protocols=https to the native profile's properties in pom.xml.

This PR will ensure adding it manually won't be required.

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 14:30

The server isn't "frozen", it's doing its job, waiting for requests and serving responses. Go to http://localhost:4000 in your web browser to request something from it.

Specifically, since you didn't specify a PHP script for it to run, it's waiting for you to request a particular file - if you have a file called "index.php", you can go to "http://localhost:4000/index.php" in your browser, if it's called "arnoldo-rocks.php", go to "http://localhost:4000/arnoldo-rocks.php", and so on.

It will carry on doing that until you kill it with Ctrl-C

If you want to run it in the background while you run other commands, and are using a Linux/Unix shell (not CMD or PowerShell), you can run it this way:

How to create a working VHDX in Azure CI Build Pipeline?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 14:26

This question is related to Azure MSIX Build and Package task only has Release and Debug configurations

We have a WinForms project that has an MSIX installer. Manually, we can successfully create

            1. An MSIXBUNDLE and deploy it to Kudu
            2. An MSIX and deploy it to an Azure VM through a VHDX. We have manually convert the MSIX to a VHDX first

We are now trying to automate the build and release process to create the VHDX. However, we are getting a blank screen when the VHDX is mounted using a process that we have already validated. The only thing different is the build method (i.e., MSBuild versus VS Publish).

How do we create a working VHDX in Azure CI Build Pipeline?

            Below is the YAML.

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 14:26

Actually, there is nothing wrong with the YAML. The problem was a delay in the virtual machine loading the VHDX. In other words, wait about 5 minutes once the VHDX is mounted before trying to run the application. I am leaving this here in case anyone else runs into this issue.

You need to create a registry credentials secret for kubernetes, as it do not uses docker credentials.

Why does the animation plot provide a different plot than the static plot
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 11:52

            Good morning,

I am creating an animation by connecting 6 nodes coordinates at 10 different time steps.

I start with a test: I first create a static plot for a time equal to 2 (for example) and I get the exact static plot that I am expecting: all and only the consecutive nodes are connected.

Then I create the animation. Unfortunately, the animated plot connects the nodes in the wrong way. You can see that the animation connects the consecutive nodes, but also the second and the second to last nodes.

            Any idea why? Thanks

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 11:52

The issue is that in your static plot, you have actually created a list of Line2D objects (try printing line1 and you will see its not a single instance).

But, in the animation function, you just create a single Line2D instance to set the xdata and ydata for.

We can change to creating a list of Line2D instances, then loop over them and set the appropriate x and y data for each segment like so:

Deeplabv3 re-train result is skewed for non-square images
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 09:13

I have issues fine-tuning the pretrained model deeplabv3_mnv2_pascal_train_aug in Google Colab.

When I do the visualization with vis.py, the results appear to be displaced to the left/upper side of the image if it has a bigger height/width, namely, the image is not square.

The dataset used for the fine-tune is Look Into Person. The steps done to do so are:

            1. Create dataset in deeplab/datasets/data_generator.py

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 09:13

After some time, I did find a solution for this problem. An important thing to know is that, by default, train_crop_size and vis_crop_size are 513x513.

The issue was due to vis_crop_size being smaller than the input images, so vis_crop_size is needed to be greater than the max dimension of the biggest image.

In case you want to use export_model.py, you must use the same logic than vis.py, so your masks are not cropped to 513 by default.

You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
