kandi X-RAY | grade.py Summary

grade.py is a Python library typically used in Testing applications. grade.py has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has build file available and it has low support. You can install using 'pip install grade.py' or download it from GitHub, PyPI.

grade.py is a testing framework that aids in grading python assignments. grade.py gracefully handles exceptions and offers error carried forward support. This package differs from standard testing frameworks in two major ways. First, it relies on a correct implementation of the module, making test scripts quick to write and enabling error carried forward. Second, it is designed to identify graded quality of performance, rather than giving binary PASS/FAIL judgements.

Get fatal error: server could not be contacted when running pgAdmin4. 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'value'
            Asked 2021-May-28 at 20:54

I have a fresh install of windows where I am trying to install Postgres and pgAdmin4. I did a fresh install of everything (pgAdmin 4, postrgres 13, etc.) with default settings. When I run pgAdmin 4 I get a "fatal error: server could not be contacted" with the following message:

            ...

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-May-14 at 22:05

As Delsx pointed out in the comments, the standalone pgAdmin can be installed without the same issues from pgadmin.org/download. It appears this is a widespread bug that has been reported on the pgAdmin bug list, here and here

how to fix an "scrap.c:27:10: fatal error: 'SDL.h' file not found" when trying to install pygame onto MacBook
            Asked 2020-Oct-27 at 18:26

I have already installed XCode on my Mac. I have also tried several different methods from different websites to install pygame, but i always get an error. For example: I typed pip install pygame==1.9.3 into my terminal and the error was:

            ...

            ANSWER

            Answered 2020-Oct-27 at 15:19

It appears to be failing due to the required SDL file not existing:

src/scrap.c:27:10: fatal error: 'SDL.h' file not found

Have you tried installing the required dependencies separately to ensure that you actually have SDL installed? If not, try the following command:

            brew install sdl sdl_image sdl_mixer sdl_ttf portmidi

This should install the required dependencies, as mentioned in an answer here. If this works, then you should be able to run your pygame installation command again.

How to deal with 'no module named pygame' when pygame is installed?
            Asked 2020-Aug-07 at 04:48

I am running python3.8 and i have 'import pygame' in the .py file and it says when I run it, "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pygame'" but on the terminal, I entered "python -m pip install --user pygame" and it says, " Requirement already satisfied: pygame in ./Library/Python/2.7/lib/python/site-packages (1.9.6)."

Now, it says python 2.7, but when I go and run " pip install pygame " presumably for python3.8, it throws an error:

Your Pygame is currently downloaded onto a different version of python than the one you are using. You will have to navigate to you current python version from your terminal and then pip install it. The problem was related to sqlite database of pgadmin.

The sqlite database was located in ~/.pgAdmin/pgAdmin4.db. I removed ~/.pgAdmin directory and reinstall pgadmin. It was corrected.

I had problems with this before. You are likely having one of 2 problems:

            1. Set the path of pip which will be in scripts folder of Python probably and update your environment variables.

            2. At the end of your error, it lets you know you have an out of date version of pip. Updating it to the latest version fixed this problem for me.

I have been trying to install PyGame onto my Mac on Catalina and can't figure out how to. The error message I get is: SystemExit: error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1. Is is something to do with about python not being setup right? I have already tried many different ways to install the package but whenever I run setup.py it gives me the error message. Is there somewhere I could move the pygame folder to so that it would be part of the python modules? Your help would be appreciated! Here is the error message:

            Your error is right here:

src_c/_pygame.h:216:10: fatal error: 'SDL.h' file not found

You need to install the SDL development files. I haven't personally used macOS in a little while now but if you have homebrew installed, I believe brew install sdl should do the trick.

You need to install the SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) library.
You can use Homebrew for it.

            Install grade.py

You can install using 'pip install grade.py' or download it from GitHub, PyPI.
You can use grade.py like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
