kandi X-RAY | postcrossing-scripts Summary

postcrossing-scripts is a Python library. postcrossing-scripts has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Strong Copyleft License and it has low support. However postcrossing-scripts build file is not available. You can download it from GitHub.

These are a few helper scripts that were written in 2020 to automate the process of matching postcrossing buddies and sending them each others information for the summer postcrossing event of AEGEE-Nijmegen. If you have a spreadsheet containing the matches you chose and their full information, you can use the sendmails.py script to send customised emails to each of the participant, informing them of the details of their postcrossing mate. However, to use this you should have some knowledge of programming in python and how email works. It is especially important to remember that mail servers can very easily think similar messages sent in a short time are spam, so make sure that you have adequate time outs enabled in the script. Also make sure to test the script without sending the emails to see if it will be sending the correct things.
