QUESTION
I have heard its a conventional practice to store program dependent files in /usr/share/application-folder
in linux. So I'm trying to do it in my c program in a function called load_interface_files()
for example. I am not sure if this is a good practice or not, I've heard about creating configuration files for this kind of issues.

Install dynamic-wallpaper-editor
You can use dynamic-wallpaper-editor like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
