kandi X-RAY | NodeHarvest Summary

NodeHarvest is a Python library typically used in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning applications. NodeHarvest has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities and it has low support. However NodeHarvest build file is not available. You can download it from GitHub.

Node Harvest selects a small subset of nodes from a Random Forest predictor. This potentially increases both, interpretability and predictive accuracy. For details about the algorithm see [1] (pdf). This implementation is written in Python 3 and works on top of the RandomForestRegressor from scikit-learn. For solving the quadratic optimization either scipy.optimize.minimize (slow) or [cvxopt.solvers.qp] ((preferred) are available. [1] [N. Meinshausen. "Node Harvest".
