pysplit | A package for HYSPLIT air parcel trajectory analysis
kandi X-RAY | pysplit Summary
kandi X-RAY | pysplit Summary
A package for generating HYSPLIT air parcel trajectories trajectories, performing moisture uptake analyses, expediting HYSPLIT cluster analysis, and for visualizing trajectories, clusters, and along-trajectory meteorological data. For an overview and brief history of PySPLIT, a new, updated technical paper- Introduction to PySPLIT: A Python Toolkit for NOAA ARL’s HYSPLIT Model- can be found in the Sept/Oct 2018 (vol 20, issue 5, p. 47-62 ) issue of Computing in Science and Engineering! This supercedes the SciPy 2015 conference proceedings.

QUESTION
This question is not a duplicate of Basemap error: module object is not callable
The solution to that is to ensure the b
in Basemap
is capitalised. I am getting this problem regardless of that. Here's my code:
ANSWER
Answered 2019-Oct-30 at 03:59The method I used to install Basemap
(whichever it is, I can't remember because it was months ago) didn't install Basemap, instead it placed Basemap
with a setup.py
file ready to be installed in my site-packages
.
This setup.py
of course doesn't work, but that's a separate issue. At least I know why this isn't working.

Install pysplit
You can use pysplit like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
