This game was born as an attempt to make a Pokémon clone in Python. The franchise was part of my childhood, and there were many things I loved about it, and there were things I really disliked. This game is an attempt of making my own version of a monster-catching RPG, bringing things that I loved about the Pokémon franchise and replacing things that I disliked about the games. If you are looking to a Pokémon alternative, Tuxemon is the best representation of what a Pokémon clone is. If you want to see new concepts in this genre, maybe PyXmon can fulfill your wishes.
