QUESTION
Trying to convert a question-generation
t5 model to torchscript
model, while doing that Running into this error
ValueError: You have to specify either decoder_input_ids or decoder_inputs_embeds
here's the code that I ran on colab.
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Dec-06 at 22:12I figured out what was causing the issue. Since the above model is sequential, it has both an encoder and a decoder. We need to pass the features into the encoder and labels (targets) into the decoder.

Install question-generation
You can use question-generation like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
