What is meant by required-api: param name=”#target” in config.xml file of AGL widgets?

I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

You can download it from GitHub.
On a UNIX-like operating system, using your system’s package manager is easiest. However, the packaged Ruby version may not be the newest one. There is also an installer for Windows. Managers help you to switch between multiple Ruby versions on your system. Installers can be used to install a specific or multiple Ruby versions. Please refer ruby-lang.org for more information.

Be sure to first read and understand the security implications of LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE. In particular, having this enabled on a web app is probably not a good idea. v0.9.5 will always use LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE for bulk load - this is not configurable. This version should by default use LOAD DATA INFILE for safer defaults. You can override this by passing :local_infile => true though. If you enable :local_infile => true and meet the following error, then you'll have to work it around.
