QUESTION
Merging two DataFrames in Pandas, based on conditions
Asked 2021-Jan-20 at 21:28
I have 2 DataFrames:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jan-20 at 21:28Intervals
We'll create a DataFrame where the index is the Interval and the columns are the values we'll want to map, then we can use .loc
with that DataFrame to bring over the data.
If any of your 'siccd'
values lie outside of all intervals you will get a KeyError
, so this method won't work.
