kandi X-RAY | dancing_with_sprockets Summary

dancing_with_sprockets is a Ruby library typically used in Server, Application Framework, Ruby On Rails applications. dancing_with_sprockets has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Permissive License and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

The dancing_with_sprockets rails engine plugin makes it easy to use [Sprockets] in your Rails application. dancing_with_sprockets includes a controller named SprocketsController that renders your application’s Sprockets concatenation. When caching is enabled, e.g. in production mode, SprocketsController uses Rails page caching to save the concatenated output the first time it is requested. When caching is disabled, e.g. in development mode, SprocketsController will render a fresh concatenation any time a source file changes. This plugin makes it easy to use sprockets with rails. Just script/plugin install and write your javascript. Done.

What is meant by required-api: param name=”#target” in config.xml file of AGL widgets?

I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below

This is the sample config.xml file

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

            Install dancing_with_sprockets

            gem install --remote sprockets
            script/plugin install git://github.com/coderifous/dancing_with_sprockets.git
Now is the time on Sprockets vhen ve dance! During installation the plugin will create the `app/javascripts/` directory in your application. You should create/move your javascript files under this directory and then include them in your views/layouts using the `sprockets_include_tag "name_of_file"` helper. The file will be sprocketized (all sprocket directives processed) and the resulting bundle will be served.
