kandi X-RAY | cloudfront-demo Summary

cloudfront-demo is a Ruby library typically used in Server, Application Framework, Ruby On Rails applications. cloudfront-demo has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

This rails app illustrates the use of CloudFront signed cookies. Compared to the simplest approach of using CNAMEs and making the CloudFront distribution a subdomain of the domain hosting the rails app, this approach offers extra flexability. For more information see my blog post.

What is meant by required-api: param name=”#target” in config.xml file of AGL widgets?

I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below

            https://docs.automotivelinux.org/docs/en/halibut/apis_services/reference/af-main/2.2-config.xml.html

This is the sample config.xml file

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

The app expects the following environment variables to be set:. Your CloudFront keypairs can be managed from the security credentials page of the AWS console (you need to login as the root user to have access to this). You will need to deploy this app to a publicly accessible location (CloudFront needs to be able to make requests to it).
SECRET_KEY_BASE: random token used by rails to sign cookies
            CLOUDFRONT_KEY_PAIR_ID: A CloudFront keypair ID
CLOUDFRONT_PRIVATE_KEY: The private key for the keypair ID.
