kandi X-RAY | async-rails Summary

async-rails is a Ruby library typically used in Server, Application Framework, Ruby On Rails applications. async-rails has no vulnerabilities and it has low support. However async-rails has 5 bugs. You can download it from GitHub.

You should be aware when using fibers with Rails that you can get a stack overflow error if your stack grows bigger than 4Kb (which is enough for most things though), this got even worse with the 3.1 release in which you can easily overflow the stack, here is an example here. Simple async demo stack with Rails 3.1 + EventMachine and Fibers.

What is meant by required-api: param name=”#target” in config.xml file of AGL widgets?

I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below

This is the sample config.xml file

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.
