kandi X-RAY | copy Summary
$ gem install copy and then generate a new site $ copy -n mynewsite. Copy automatically maps URLs to files in your views directory. Copy lets you define blocks of editable text in your views. The text provided in the block will be saved and can then be edited live on the site. All content is formatted with Markdown. See demo for a live example or view the source. Single line blocks will be rendered in a span (by default). Perfect for headlines. Partials can be rendered from any view with the partial helper. Their filenames are always prefixed with an underscore.

QUESTION
I built an app using Django 3.2.3., but when I try to settup my javascript code for the HTML, it doesn't work. I have read this post Django Static Files Development and follow the instructions, but it doesn't resolve my issue.
Also I couldn't find TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS
, according to this post no TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS in django, from 1.7 Django and later, TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS
is the same as TEMPLATE
to config django.core.context_processors.static
but when I paste that code, turns in error saying django.core.context_processors.static
doesn't exist.
I don't have idea why my javascript' script isn't working.
The configurations are the followings
Settings.py
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 18:56Run ‘python manage.py collectstatic’ and try again.
The way you handle static wrong, remove the static dirs in your INSTALLED_APPS out of STATIC_DIRS and set a STATIC_ROOT then collectstatic again.
Add the following as django documentation to your urls.py
QUESTION
I'm normally OK on the joining and appending front, but this one has got me stumped.
I've got one dataframe with only one row in it. I have another with multiple rows. I want to append the value from one of the columns of my first dataframe to every row of my second.
df1:
id Value 1 worddf2:
id data 1 a 2 b 3 cOutput I'm seeking:
df2
id data Value 1 a word 2 b word 3 c wordI figured that this was along the right lines, but it listed out NaN for all rows:

Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 23:59Just get the first element in the value column of df1 and assign it to value column of df2
QUESTION
I am trying to write a macro that will copy from a list of 100 rows (9 cells each) into a single row, then run solver on it, and then copy the values to another spot in the workbook.
The below code works for one line, but everything that i have found online appears to be for paste sequential rows, not copying them and pasting them into the same row to be operated on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

QUESTION
I am a beginner in Data Science, so please sorry if my mistake is dumb.
Here, I have a loop which views my data frame and makes changes using .loc The problem is that the changes are not saved at the end. I checked every step, everything is processing right. I even checked the modified cell right after working on it (look below) and its gives the value I put into it. However, when the program finishes the my excel data frame is not changed at all.
Help please. Thank you in advance!
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-13 at 21:56when the program finishes my excel data frame is not changed at all.
That's because you never wrote anything to the Excel file. With exc = pd.read_excel('...')
you create a Python object exc
(more specifically, a pandas DataFrame), and all the subsequent modifications happen to this object. To change the source file accordingly, you can use pandas' DataFrame.to_excel()
method, by adding this line in the end:
QUESTION
I have the wackiest bug. Like....the wackiest! If any of ya'll want to put eyes on this, awesomesauce! I really appriciate it! I am creating a survey with REACT, Redux, SQL, HML, Material-ui, and CSS.
I've created a graph of information with am4charts using data from a database. Everything is working and will show up on the page......but not on page load. What I am seeing in my console is that the page will load, it fires off my get request but doesn't return with the data fast enough (I think). By the time that the get request loads, my graph has populated with no data.
Here is the code that I have for the page that I am rendering. What is really odd is that, once my code has run, I can cut a line of code (I've been using a console log). And then the graph will render and load.

QUESTION
Turns out you can't have comments in JSON files, and it's a bit awkward to have people refer to some documentation telling them what line to copy/paste in and where in order to achieve this.
I think I can make a python script to copy/paste in one of two package.json files depending on what flags they pass in, but that feels overcomplicated.
I think I can include both dependencies (under different names) but that would create a requirement for both to be available, which is not good either.
Looking for ideas/thoughts on a good way to accomplish this. I have a release and dev version of the same dependency and I often need to swap between the two. Would like to improve the workflow beyond just having a notepad on the side with the two lines pasted in it...

Tag the dev versions when you release them
QUESTION
We have a multi-module maven project. One of the modules has a bunch of .proto
files, which we compile to java files. Pretty much every other module depends on this module. Most of them use Protobuf 2.4, but one needs to use 2.5.
Is there any nice way to do this? (The not nice way is to edit the pom file to say "2.5", build a jar, manually copy that jar to wherever we need it, and then change the pom file back to 2.4.)
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-08 at 13:59Never used protobuf, but, as I understand it's a plugin that generate stuff.
So I'm gonna give you generic pointer hoping it will help. I think you should either try to make 2 jar with different classifier from a single module, see https://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-jar-plugin/examples/attached-jar.html For example classifier proto2.4 and proto2.5 then you can add the classifier when you define the dependency to that module.
Other option I see is having 2 modules, the real one, you have now, and another one for 2.5 Generate a zip from the main one and the second module would be empty but have a dependency on the generated zip, unzip it and then compile with the plugin config for 2.5 Slower at execution, a bit dirtier imho, but can be needed if for example you need more customization than just the version.
QUESTION
I'm currently using Winsock2 to be able to test a connection to multiple local telnet
servers, but if the server connection fails, the default Winsock client takes forever to timeout.
I've seen from other posts that select()
can set a timeout for the connection part, and that setsockopt()
with timeval
can timeout the receiving portion of the code, but I have no idea how to implement either. Pieces of code that I've copy/pasted from other answers always seem to fail for me.
How would I use both of these functions in the default client code? Or, if it isn't possible to use those functions in the default client code, can someone give me some pointers on how to use those functions correctly?
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 21:17
select()
can set a timeout for the connection part.
Yes, but only if you put the socket into non-blocking mode before calling connect()
, so that connect()
exits immediately and then the code can use select()
to wait for the socket to report when the connect operation has finished. But the code shown is not doing that.
setsockopt()
withtimeval
can timeout the receiving portion of the code
Yes, though select()
can also be used to timeout a read operation, as well. Simply call select()
first, and then call recv()
only if select()
reports that the socket is readable (has pending data to read).
Try something like this:

line 9 12 14 will be ignored

I am writing a program in python to have a user input multiple websites then request and scrape those websites for their titles and output it. However, when the program surpasses 8 websites the program crashes every time. header to the headers=
parameter in requests.get()
, otherwise, the page thinks that your a bot and will block you.
