kandi X-RAY | parelation Summary

parelation is a Ruby library typically used in Server, Application Framework, Ruby On Rails applications. parelation has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Permissive License and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

Parelation, for Rails/ActiveRecord 6.0+, allows you to query your ActiveRecord-mapped database easily, securely and quite flexibly using simple GET requests. It's used in your controller layer where it uses HTTP GET parameters to build on the ActiveRecord::Relation chain. This provides the client-side with the out-of-the-box flexibility to perform fairly dynamic queries without having to write boilerplate on the server. This library was developed for- and extracted from HireFire. The documentation can be found on RubyDoc.

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.
