kandi X-RAY | sub_resources Summary
to install this plugin, please use script/plugin install. firstly, the regular map.resources and map.resource support good url-mapping patterns, but there are still some common restful patterns unsupported. most of them are grouped in two types. sub_resources plugin provides solutions for these requests. the solution for the first problem is to use :sub_resources / :sub_resource option to map.resources / map.resource. if you use :sub_resource option, that is handled as a single resource. you can use an array as the value. also, you can use a hash and specify common options to the sub resources. so, if you write the configuration like this,. it generates mappings like this;. get /reports/:id/tags (report_tags) reportscontroller#tags post /reports/:id/tags #create_tag get /reports/:id/tags/:tag_id (report_tag) #tag

QUESTION
I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below
https://docs.automotivelinux.org/docs/en/halibut/apis_services/reference/af-main/2.2-config.xml.html
This is the sample config.xml file
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Mar-06 at 09:48I figured out why we need this
required-api: param name="#target"
OPTIONAL(not compulsory)
It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

Install sub_resources
On a UNIX-like operating system, using your system’s package manager is easiest. However, the packaged Ruby version may not be the newest one. There is also an installer for Windows. Managers help you to switch between multiple Ruby versions on your system. Installers can be used to install a specific or multiple Ruby versions. Please refer ruby-lang.org for more information.
