QUESTION
I'm normally OK on the joining and appending front, but this one has got me stumped.
I've got one dataframe with only one row in it. I have another with multiple rows. I want to append the value from one of the columns of my first dataframe to every row of my second.
df1:
id Value 1 worddf2:
id data 1 a 2 b 3 cOutput I'm seeking:
df2
id data Value 1 a word 2 b word 3 c wordI figured that this was along the right lines, but it listed out NaN for all rows:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 23:59Just get the first element in the value column of df1 and assign it to value column of df2

QUESTION
I have the wackiest bug. Like....the wackiest! If any of ya'll want to put eyes on this, awesomesauce! I really appriciate it! I am creating a survey with REACT, Redux, SQL, HML, Material-ui, and CSS.
I've created a graph of information with am4charts using data from a database. Everything is working and will show up on the page......but not on page load. What I am seeing in my console is that the page will load, it fires off my get request but doesn't return with the data fast enough (I think). By the time that the get request loads, my graph has populated with no data.
Here is the code that I have for the page that I am rendering. What is really odd is that, once my code has run, I can cut a line of code (I've been using a console log). And then the graph will render and load.

QUESTION
I am working on a project where I get emails with a specific 'subject'. There are forwarded to me by users. The body consists of text but in the original email and no new text is entered above the forwarded line. There are also attachments to either of the part of the email.
I wrote the following code using python and IMAP and am able to store attachments and body only if the email is NEW and not a forwarded email.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 22:07Seems like you already have the part where you are extracting the attachments. Try this code to retrieve the body of a multipart email.
You may have to figure out how to merge your part with this one.
QUESTION
Turns out you can't have comments in JSON files, and it's a bit awkward to have people refer to some documentation telling them what line to copy/paste in and where in order to achieve this.
I think I can make a python script to copy/paste in one of two package.json files depending on what flags they pass in, but that feels overcomplicated.
I think I can include both dependencies (under different names) but that would create a requirement for both to be available, which is not good either.
Looking for ideas/thoughts on a good way to accomplish this. I have a release and dev version of the same dependency and I often need to swap between the two. Would like to improve the workflow beyond just having a notepad on the side with the two lines pasted in it...

already do this job, why not use them?
Tag the dev versions when you release them

QUESTION
While studying OpenCV, I realized that whenever I blend two images the colors of scr2 have changed in some way(depends on the colors of scr1).
I know this is not an informative and clear way to explain my issue, however; I don't know how to describe this issue since I have no expertise with colors so I would like to show you what I meant with images and code.
The input image: Input image
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 16:46I think I misunderstood your issue. If your issue is that the image where you do not have lines has changed, then that is because you used a white background for scr2. The white then mixes with your image in the output. Make it scr2=img.copy() in place of what you have now. Then try your code. So in Python/OpenCV as a demonstration, using the Lena image as background, here is your code:
QUESTION
When I hover over the anchor tag, it flickers. It's because there are vertical gaps between the lines of the wrapped anchor tag. Moreover, if I happen to click between the lines, the link doesn't activate. I would like to get rid of this flickering and vertical hover gaps that cause it. The rest of the layout including apparent line height and button position (on the same line as the last word of the anchor tag) should stay the same.
I was thinking about this for a couple of days with no luck. The best alternative I have is using inline-block on the anchor tag, but that clears the button to the next line, which wastes too much space.

QUESTION
I have the below requirement . i am trying to run the condition in loop and its taking more time. is there a one time command anything which will not take more time to process a 70 MB file.
Requirement: if @pRECTYPE="SBSB" line contains @pSBEL_MCTR_RSN="XXX" tag then we need to copy and append that to next @pRECTYPE="SBEL record at the end of the line
File :note : in file there will be no blank lines. I have given enter to avoid line continuation

@pRUKE=dfgt@pRECTYPE="KBSG", @pKBSG_UPDATE_CD="IN", XXXXXXXXXXX
example :
Before : @pRUKE=dfgt@pRECTYPE="SMDR", @pCONFIG="Y" XXXXXXX
@pRUKE=dfgt@pRECTYPE="SBSB", @pGWID="1234", @pSBEL_MCTR_RSN="KX28", @pSBSB_9000_COLL=""

@pRUKE=dfgt@pRECTYPE="SBEL", @pSBEL_EFF_DT="01/01/2017", @pCSPI_ID="JKOX0001", @pSBEL_FI="A"
After:
@pRUKE=dfgt@pRECTYPE="SMDR", @pCONFIG="Y" XXXXXXX
@pRUKE=dfgt@pRECTYPE="SBSB", @pGWID="1234", @pSBEL_MCTR_RSN="KX28", @pSBSB_9000_COLL=""

if after SBSB, if there is no SBEL, then that SBSB can be ignored.
what i did is egrep -n "pRECTYPE="SBSB"|pRECTYPE="SBEL"" filename | sed '$!N;/pRECTYPE="SBEL"/P;D' | awk -F: '{print $1}' | awk 'NR%2{printf "%s,",$0;next;}1' > 4.txt;
by this i will get the line number eg: 2,4 17,19
line 9 12 14 will be ignored

This requires GNU awk:
QUESTION
I'm trying to use BS4 to parse through the HTML for an about page on a youtube channel so I can scrape the number of channel views. Below is the code to scrape the channel views (located in the 'yt-formatted-string') and also the whole right column of the page. Both lines of code return either an empty list and a "None" value for the findAll() and find() functions, respectively.
I read another thread saying I may be receiving an empty list or "None" value because the page is accessing an API to get the total channel views to count and the values aren't actually in the HTML I'm parsing.
I know I could access much of this info through the Youtube API, but I want to iterate this code over multiple channels that are not my own. Moreover, I want to understand how to use BS4 to its full extent so I can replicate this process on an Instagram page or Facebook page.
Should I be using a different library that isn't BS4? Is what I'm looking to accomplish even possible?

Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 20:43YouTube is loaded dynamically, therefore urlib
won't support it.
However, the data is available in JSON format on the website. You can convert this data to a Python dictionary (dict
) using the built-in json
library.
This example is using the URL you have provided: https://www.youtube.com/c/Rozziofficial/about, you can change the channel name, it will work for all channels.
Here's an example using requests
, you can use urlib
instead:

On a UNIX-like operating system, using your system’s package manager is easiest. However, the packaged Ruby version may not be the newest one. There is also an installer for Windows. Managers help you to switch between multiple Ruby versions on your system. Installers can be used to install a specific or multiple Ruby versions. Please refer ruby-lang.org for more information.
