QUESTION
I am trying to create a slackbot which can save incoming data to a database.
I have used the gem slack-ruby-bot
and I'm able to receive my text, but I want to extract specific parts of the text, to save in a database.
- I worked on 'stackoverflow' for 10 hours.
I must be able to extract the project name, stackoverflow, and the hour, which is 10. Is there someway to do it?

to get the data.

Install slack-ruby-bot
On a UNIX-like operating system, using your system’s package manager is easiest. However, the packaged Ruby version may not be the newest one. There is also an installer for Windows. Managers help you to switch between multiple Ruby versions on your system. Installers can be used to install a specific or multiple Ruby versions. Please refer ruby-lang.org for more information.
