QUESTION
I wrote a demo with some inline assembly (showing how to shift an array of memory right one bit) and it compiles and functions fine in GCC. However, the with Clang, I'm not sure if it's generating bad code or what but it's unhappy that I'm using memory despite the "rm" constraint.
I've tried many compilers and versions via Godbolt and while it works on all x86/x86_64 versions of GCC, it fails with all versions of Clang. I'm unsure if the problem is my code or if I found a compiler bug.

The problem is your code. In GNU assembler, parentheses are used to dereference like unary *
is in C, and you can only dereference a register, not memory. As such, writing 12(%0)
in the assembly when %0
might be memory is wrong. It only happens to work in GCC because GCC chooses to use a register for "rm"
there, while Clang chooses to use memory. You should use "r" (bytes)
instead.
Also, you need to tell the compiler that your assembly is going to modify the array, either with a memory
clobber or by adding *(unsigned char (*)[16])bytes
as an output. Right now, it's allowed to optimize your printf
to just hardcode what the values were at the beginning of the program.

I am trying to use beginMoveColumns
to move a single column over in a QTableView
, but it doesn't work properly in my example below. The cell selections get shuffled and column widths don't move. Moving rows using the same logic seems to work correctly. What am I doing wrong?
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 20:13Turns out it was a bug, I made a bug report here: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-94503
As a workaround I just clear cell selection on column move, and use this snippet to move column widths
QUESTION
I wrote a discord bot. "o" is first letter of play. "atla" is skip. When I wrote -o MUSIC_NAME, music is adding queue and starting to play. And when I write again, just adding queue. Everything is okay still here. When I wrote -atla. It's also working perfectly. But when I allow to changing auto music itself, it's changing music automatically. But problem is here. The end of the last music not working else if (list.length === 0) block in endHandler function. How can I fix that? Thanks for your attention.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 15:41I'm not familiar with Discord bots but I don't think your endHandler
will ever run the else if
part the way it is because your code is always creating a new dispatcher
when it plays the next song, but never sets up a finish
handler for it.

QUESTION
(novice in coding, i just follow tutorials and try to understand and learn at the same time) I recently wanted to code my own Discord bot but i had an issue with the event handler part so i tried another method but now i have another issue.
Instead of responding "pong" to "p!ping", it says :
client.commands.get('ping').execute(message, args); ^
TypeError: Cannot read property 'get' of undefined
at Object.execute (.../events/message.js:18:23)
at Client.
I also tried to replace
client.commands.get('ping').execute(message, args);
with
client.commands.cache.get('ping').execute(message, args);
or even client.commands.find('ping').execute(message, args);
but it says "TypeError: Cannot read property 'get' of undefined - Discord bot" or even

Answered 2021-Jun-13 at 11:25I changed the

with
if (command === `${prefix}ping`){
and it works, i think i just have to do that with all the commands. If you have an easier solution please feel free to share it or if you found the issue with the code please tell me. (because before it worked without this modification),
thank you
QUESTION
In my project, I've hand-rolled a tiny dialog box that can be used to pick a key and/or mouse combination, "S" or "CTRL-SHIFT-C" or something. I had it working fine in Linux and Windows, but when I went to check it on the Mac, the dialog box would only respond to mouse events.
I boiled it down to a ~30-line minimal example, which actually made it be broken in the same way, mouse events but no keyboard, on Linux. On Windows my minimal code works as expected.
I've looked at the demo code, and I feel like I'm doing pretty precisely the things they're doing, so I'm stumped, most especially by the simple code being broken on Linux. Is there some magic or secret to making key events work reliably and cross-platform?
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 03:35I just ran this on OSX 11.4. Works fine with mouse and key events. The imporant part on OSX (and I suspect Linux as it is more similar to OSX than Windows) is that the parent panel is getting the focus and the events. Also, StaticText
can't get focus.
Here's the working code:

QUESTION
My bot is not responding to any commands except for the .purge command.
Here is my code.
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 02:21You used the message
parameter instead of command
. Instead of message === 'xxx'
put command === 'xxx'
. Simple mistake, I think that was what you meant anyways. Of course the purge command worked because you put command === 'purge' there
