kandi X-RAY | acts_as_setting Summary

acts_as_setting is a Ruby library typically used in Server, Application Framework applications. acts_as_setting has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Permissive License and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

This plugin provides a simple extension to any ActiveRecord class to implement a simple key/value settings interface. It supports a YAML file containing a definition of all the settings and their format/default values that will be used in case a requested setting is not found within the database. This plugin can for instance be used if you have an application that have a set of application wide settings that you want to allow the application administrator to change within a running application. Note that this is still a work in progress, there are no working unit tests and the code is generally not sufficiently tested for production use.

What is meant by required-api: param name=”#target” in config.xml file of AGL widgets?

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.
