Using "Nested" image tags in html script with onmouseover
            Asked 2019-May-28 at 17:03

I am designing a Sharepoint page with script editor. I have an image which I have used area tag on. So with onmouseover another image pops up and it reverts back onmouseout. I further want to use another area tag on this new image onmouseover where I can add area tags. Something like a nested image map.

Onclick event on an imagemap area element
            Asked 2019-Apr-16 at 13:56

I have the following problem. I have a big image (banner) and on it I have two flags which are 2 map areas. I want to do the following: when you click on English flag the language changes to English, when you click on Spanish flag, the language changes to Spanish. I don't know if I should do it with an href or onclick function. I add some code.

If you are staying on the page and responding to an event, I'd say use onclick.

If you are navigating to a new url, I'd say use href.

Since you're navigating to a new url, I'd go with something along the lines of href="LanguageSwitcher/switchLang/spanish".

            On-Click Image Display Table
            Asked 2017-Feb-22 at 16:26

Real beginners question and apologies about the crude art in the link, but I'm struggling to articulate without it. Also, as a new poster, I'm limited to two hyperlinks per-question, so apologies for not linking the code I've used below.

I have an image to place trigger points on. After clicking on the trigger, a table would ideally appear. For example, if I click on the roof, I would like a table saying the roof is blue, or the door one saying it's red.

I've been playing around with each of these, but haven't had any success yet.

You can use your first sample and extend it with an event handler
