I am using Snowplow to do the behavioral data tracking. I could consume the data from Pub/Sub to BigQuery using Snowplow loader (& mutator) open source code (https://docs.snowplowanalytics.com/docs/getting-started-on-snowplow-open-source/setup-snowplow-on-gcp/setup-bigquery-destination/), but I would like to consume the data from Pub/Sub to a Java API directly.
However, the data from Pub/Sub is unstructured without a schema in a String format. The data includes "\t" as the delimiter as well as "{}" to store some schemas, which may require the string processing to do the data formatting.
Is there any other better way to decode the data from Pub/Sub to Java API rather than writing complex string processing. Thank you!

Does anyone have any pointers on how to properly cast / convert this to a Java list? Most of the examples I have found are doing this in the Scala runtime vs the Java runtime.
I had thought the JavaConverters package would help me here, however these methods don't seem to be expecting an immutable scala list.
Where e in the example below is an instance of the Event in the linked sdk.

- The correct contexts / entities are sent with the appropriate events
However, it doesn’t look like it is possible to see any detail about what values were passed for the attached entities.
This means that Micro is good for validating certain events were logged and that entities were attached, but we can’t verify anything about the attached entities beyond their existence. If, as part of an automated QA process, we want to validate that when an entity has a particular property set another property is also set, how should we go about achieving that?

In the parameters object, the cx property represents the contexts but they are Base64 encoded. If you you decode this you will get another JSON object containing the entities.
