I'm running IntelliJ IDEA on my machine but I can't open CN1 Control Center application. Nothing happened when I click on Codename One Preferences.

I already ran java -jar ~/.codenameone/UpdateCodenameOne.jar PATH_TO_PROJECT which updated my libraries.

I'm able to launch the Control Center from Command-Line, using guibuilder.jar:

I'm assuming you're running with the plugin and trying to launch with the plugin and not via the maven action which resolves this problem.

For this to work with the plugin you need to update the project which you can do in one of two ways:

Use the following command: java -jar ~/.codenameone/UpdateCodenameOne.jar PATH_TO_PROJECT
Launch from command line once by running with the ZuluFX VM

The recommended way to automate authentiation in ZAP is to configure and test it in the desktop, then export the context and import that via the API. If the authentication uses scripts then these will need to be registered with ZAP first.

Intellij Run Configurations as root on linux

I recently switched my dev station from Windows to a Linux machine, and I'm setting things up. I use Intellij for web development. On my Windows box, I had run configurations for things like npm start, and gulp lots of tasks. In Linux, most of these error out, because they require root to run. Is there a way to run commands in Intellij's run configuration as root? I'd prefer to not have to edit the gulp files, as they're shared over git with my team who runs Windows.

I have intellij-idea-ultimate version 2019.3.1 installed as a snap on Pop OS version 19.10

The only way is to run IntelliJ IDEA itself via sudo.
