Try using a state operator to update the state. For example, you could use the updateItem to find and update an item in an array:

There is a general format that can be followed. Although in certain scenarios, it becomes necessary to break away from the traditional style, your situation seems to be fairly basic. Here is a PEP convention guide for docstrings in Python:

            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 12:03

I have users in a Cognito user pool, some of whom are in an Administrators group. These administrators need to be allowed to read/write to a specific S3 bucket, and other users must not.

To achieve this, I assigned a role to the Administrators group which looked like this:

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 12:03

The solution lies in the federated identity pool's settings.

By default the identity pool will provide the IAM role that it's configured with. In other words, one of either the "unauthenticated role" or the "authenticated role" that it's set up with.

But it can be told instead to provide a role specified by the authentication provider. That's what will solve the problem here.

            1. In the AWS console, in Cognito, open the relevant identity pool.
            2. Click "Edit identity pool" (top right)
            3. Expand "Authentication Providers"
            4. Under Authenticated Role Selection, choose "Choose role from token".

That will allow Cognito to specify its own roles, and you will find that the users get the privileges of their group.

You're apparently using OpenSSL 1.0.2, where that's a basically useless relic. Back in the days when OpenSSL supported SSLv2 (mostly until 2010, although almost no one used it much after 2000), the ciphersuite values used for SSLv3 and up (including all TLS, but before 2014 OpenSSL didn't implement higher than TLS1.0) were structured differently than those used for SSLv2, so it was important to qualify the ciphersuite by the 'universe' it existed in. It has almost nothing to do with the protocol version actually used, which appears later in the session-param decode:

Get location path from use Location hook inside a column renderer from react-bootstrap-table2
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 07:08
            Story

I'm creating 2 pages (Summary and Cycles pages) using react.js.

On the Summary page, there is a column named CN that every item links to the Cycles page.

Summary page has a path /route/summary/location=abc and Cycles page has a path /route/cycle/location=abc/deviceId=4410

For example, if I click the value from CN column in the first row of the table inside the Summary page, I will be redirected to the Cycles page with the path /route/cycle/location=abc/deviceId=4410.

In the Summary page, I use https://github.com/react-bootstrap-table/react-bootstrap-table2 for the table component and I use a columnRenderer function inside columns.js to render a custom item inside the table like this one:

            Question

How can I put the pathname (example "abc") to a Link component inside cnColumnRenderer function in columns.js?

            Ideal Condition I wanted:

Summary page with the path: /route/summary/location=abc

Cycles page with the path: /route/cycle/location=abc/deviceId=4410

            Actual Condition:

Error because of invalid hook call while rendering the Summary page

            My Code:

table code inside Summary page (inside Summary.js):

hint: focus on columns variable from './columns' and its implementation

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 05:17

React hooks are only valid in React functional components, not in any callbacks, loops, conditional blocks. If you need the location data in the callback it needs to be passed in.

From what I can tell it seems you need to move the columns.js code into the main component so the location values can be closed over in scope.

Angular and ASP.NET Core MVC: "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<'" for index file references when deployed
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 06:41

I have an application using ASP.NET Core MVC and an Angular UI framework.

I can run the application in IIS Express Development Environment without issue. When I switch to the IIS Express Production environment or deploy to an IIS host, my index referenced files cannot be read showing a browser error:

            Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<'

These pages look like they are loading the index page as opposed to the .js or .css files.

Here is a snippet of the underlying runtime.js as it should be loaded into browser, it is not loaded with index.html.

            Converting Between Time-Zones using URLSearchParams
            Asked 2021-Jun-14 at 20:43

I'm working on a web application that supports link sharing. This link contains the clients selected dates (start and end date) from a date selector react component. As the user changes the selected dates they are accurately represented in the URL ready to be shared with other uses. When another user clicks on this link it should open the same web application except the default selected dates inside the date selector component will be parsed from the URL instead (if they exist otherwise uses the default).

This works exceptionally well when the links are shared between two people in the same time zone. However, if I send my link to someone in a different time-zone the selected dates for them are not the same as mine.

Currently when writing the local dates to the URL I am doing the following steps:

Given the strings are generated by toISOString, the resulting timestamp will be parsed to exactly the same time value by the built-in parser regardless of the user's system offset or settings.

The difference you see is from generating a local date and time from the time value based on different system settings. Given the same input timestamp, both systems should display exactly the same output timestamp if displayed for the same location, e.g. the following parses the timestamp in the OP, then presents the equivalent time in EDT and PDT respectively.

I am using one of materialUI's built-in components to display data on one of my sites. Currently, the code that was implemented is very closely based off of the examples on the MaterialUI API site. With that said, I have made a few adjustments for my own personal use case. You have the right idea about passing props to your CustomTable component to be able to change the data that gets rendered. Then, the parent component can pass the rows through the CustomTable component's props.
