QUESTION
I am using Xcode 12.2, and working on a Swift static framework (embedded in a .xcframework
in the end), which I intend to deliver with CocoaPods.
My issue is currently not the CocoaPods integration in an app project (pod install
works correctly and app builds & run), but the pod validation with pod lib lint
command.
The lint
validation fails, with logs containing the following:
ANSWER
Answered 2020-Nov-23 at 10:40You are right, for the validation of a podspec, CocoaPods create an Objective-C Xcode project.
A Swift-only framework having a Mach-O Type
with Static Library
is indeed an issue on CocoaPods' side, because it can't handle it yet.
In this situation, the Swift libraries are not linked.
An issue has been opened and addressed on CocoaPods repository, and the fix will come with CocoaPods version 1.11
Until this CocoaPods 1.11 release, here are the workarounds shared in this issue (I haven't tried them):
QUESTION
I have developed a couple of watch apps and I am getting the hang of it, but when I try to add a watch os target to a React Native App I get 47 errors that I do not understand.
I am attempting to follow this tutorial - How to add an Apple Watch Extension To your react native application.
Steps to Reproduce 1. Create a new React Native ProjectFirst, I created a new React Native Project. (success ✅)

Answered 2020-Oct-13 at 00:05I was able to resolve this issue by changing the Library Search Paths Build Setting.
In your project select the Watch Extension Target, then Build Settings Menu, and find the Library Search Paths setting. (You need to make sure the "All" filter is selected or you will not see this setting). In it's value you'll see two links, use the first one only... Set the value ov Library Search Paths to: "$(TOOLCHAIN_DIR)/usr/lib/swift/$(PLATFORM_NAME)"
This worked for me 🎉🥳
QUESTION
I am developing an Appcelerator Titanium iOS Module that uses a 3rd party framework (OpenCV).
So far, so good. I ran into some problems, but gradually managed to get through them (with help). Now, I am getting this annoying erros that states Could not find or use auto-linked library 'swiftCore'
and other libraries. The module compiles with no problem, the error I get when trying to run the module in the App (I don't even get warns on XCode, 'it's all good man').
The error:
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Aug-28 at 16:06For my specific case, what solved the issue (I must thank the team/users of TiSlack which helped me through this) was to install the newer Titanium Mobile SDK (9.2.0). The errors are gone, the App runs now!
