I am new to blockchain app development, I saw a project where ganache accounts are imported into Metamask, then web3.js is used to access and print those accounts and balances on Frontend (user interface).

If web3.js can directly access ganache blockchain accounts and balances, why do we need Metamask in between?

In this case, you don't need MetaMask to sign the transaction, as the node (Ganache) holds your private key.

But in a public environment (testnets and mainnet), the node doesn't hold your private key, so you'd need to sign the transaction using MetaMask (or any other tool that holds the private key).

I've been using the testnet lately and I encounter issues: they reset it very often and the service is down for multiple hours and sometimes have bugs.

Should I use the devnet? From what I've understood it's more stable and they reset it less often?

I have a backend in js that uses the elrond-sdk-erdjs and I'm confused because there is no function that initializes the https://devnet-gateway.elrond.com only the testnet. Is there a reason?

The testnet is pretty volatile and it is reset very often (maybe weekly), without any warnings. Elrond recommends developers to use the devnet, it is reset maybe once every 3-4 months, so it's more stable.

it appears your env variables are not set correctly, and it looks like in this case it's your WEB3_INFURA_PROJECT_ID.

You can fix it by setting the variable in your .env file and adding dotenv: .env to your brownie-config.yaml.

brownie-config.yaml:

export WEB3_INFURA_PROJECT_ID=YOUR_PROJECT_ID_HERE Remember to save these files.

Additionally, you should be on at least brownie version v1.14.6. You can find out what version you're on with:

enter image description hereI've installed latest version of visual studio with desktop development c++ workload but still they are asking for it when i try to install truffle. I entered command :npm install -g truffle and lot of messages appear after 2 to 3 minutes of some kind of installation process. they are asking for Latest version of Visual Studio with "Desktop development with c++ workload" whereas i just installed my Visual studio with the same requirements. node.js and ganache are already installed. Is there any other way to install truffle?

Weth is different from other token, you're not able to use swapTokensForTokens. We must use the swapEthForTokens function instead, and you have to declare the data option separately.

This section aims to demonstrate how to deploy the entire project stack on a kubernetes cluster. Also, for developing purposes, there are also the steps to run everything locally with docker compose. Deploying everything into kubernetes is going to require a few steps. Assuming that we're already connected to a kubernetes cluster, check if all nodes are up and running. The first thing to do is to create a persistent shared volume between all pods to hold the fabric configuration files. Secondly, start up the fabric tools pod, which is a helper pod used to interact with the hyperledger network. Now, copy all configuration files to the shared volume. Also, copy the chaincode source files to the volume. Since the basic files are already inside the volume, access the fabric helper pod to generate some Hyperledger artefacts. The first one is the genesis block, which will contains our network topology information with all nodes addresses. Then we're going to create a channel transaction and also a transaction to update the anchor peers. After generating the artefacts, start up the infrastructure containers. Create a fabric certificate authority. Create a fabric orderer. Create a fabric peer and its couchdb. Check if all pods are running. Go back into our helper pod to join our peer in the channel and install the smart contract code in it. Join the fabric peer into the channel. Package the chaincode source directory. Install chaincode on peer. We can check if the installation went smoothly with. To check if it worked. Update the anchor peer to reflect on the discovery services. Now that the entire Hyperledger Fabric blockchain network is up and running inside the kubernetes cluster, start up the API service. You can now test the API endpoints and see everything working. To run the project locally, it is possible to start everything up using docker compose. First, go to the network directory. Start up the local hyperledger fabric infrastructure. Join peer to channel. Initialize the fabric tools container, which is a helper cli that allows us to interact with the network. Package the chaincode source directory. Install chaincode on peer. We can check if the installation went smoothly with. To check if it worked. Update the anchor peer to reflect on the discovery services.
Create a shared volume to hold common configuration files for Hyperledger Fabric
Copy those configutation files into the volume
Generate some basic blockchain artefacts, such as the genesis block
Start up the necessary infrastructure containers (Certificate authority, Peer, Orderer and more)
Install and instatiate the chaincode (aka smart contract) into the peers
Deploy the REST API to interact with the network
