I am working on a project where I get emails with a specific 'subject'. There are forwarded to me by users. The body consists of text but in the original email and no new text is entered above the forwarded line. There are also attachments to either of the part of the email.

I wrote the following code using python and IMAP and am able to store attachments and body only if the email is NEW and not a forwarded email.

Seems like you already have the part where you are extracting the attachments. Try this code to retrieve the body of a multipart email.

You may have to figure out how to merge your part with this one.

Please enable the quarkus-smallrye-jwt TRACE logging to see why the tokens are rejected. And indeed, as you have also found out, https protocol needs to be enabled in the native image, which can be done, as you have shown :-), by adding --enable-url-protocols=https to the native profile's properties in pom.xml.

This PR will ensure adding it manually won't be required.

I was able to get it resolved, but the solution is...hacky.

So, apparently, Google Apps Script exports only what is in globalThis of a project: just the functions and variables. No classes, no constants, ...

Probably has a lot to do with how ES6 works, with its globalThis behavior. One can see that in action, by creating a dummy function, a dummy variable, and a dummy class in their local developer console:

I have a folder with several hundreds of .txt files that contain HTML code. All the file names and file paths are stored in a .csv file. I would like to convert the HTML code in each of the .txt file into plain text and save the file again.

I read that html2text is a python script that would fit my needs.

Updated answer:

After some discussion in the comments below, my original answer isn't going to cut it.

The structure of the file Test.csv is not something that DictReader from the CSV module can parse. This is easily solved by creating a simple file parser.

The part below the 2 methods has not changed much. Instead of parsing the results of DictReader from the CSV module, we parse the results from the function readcsv

Currently, the errors popping are related to 'missing form label'. These errors are specifically for the code fileInput or rabiobuttons (5 errors are on Data import tab). For example, around the following code. WAVE shows the error for the placeholder for fileInput.

fileInput accessibility was one of the things changed in the Shiny v1.6 release: https://shiny.rstudio.com/reference/shiny/1.6.0/upgrade.html

Are you definitely using v1.6? It looks like you are, so you may have identified a bug in the shiny framework.

I'm trying to strip gif images from emails in order to save storage space in Outlook and our document management system.

Say for example you've got an email approx 2MB's in size and the gif is 1MB. I'm expecting the result of the file size of the email to be 1MB.

The first part uses MimeKit to remove the gif. The problem I find with this code is that if you are not debugging it doesn't reduce the file size by what I'd expect. I've found this is because the image is still in the html properties of the MimeMessage.

Why doesn't the size of the message shrink after I remove the gif attachments?

MIME can contain nested multiparts and in your case, it likely does because HTML mail with images are often within a multipart/related which is often within a multipart/alternative, like this:
